Walk on...

Small update. I've been working my way through a long term simple project on things that go on in the early hours of the morning around the town of Sidney. Nothing major, just artsy photos to put together in a slideshow to be a little added thing for the paper's site.

The last post had one, the runner by the lake, and this one will also be in there. This project is basically my way of being able to play with light. It's a way to get myself to shoot more artistically and less driven by getting the event in the shot.

This is just a fun little silhouette shot taken around 7:45 in the am. Kids going into elementary. Crisp sun light and a brisk breeze. Mornings are great, if you can get yourself out of bed.

I don't want my work to get stagnant. I want to keep moving in a direction that will make me improve on things. This is hard to do if you're not pushing yourself. I'm not a fan of burning myself out and would rather I dabble in things and feel my way through stuff until things grab me.

You can only shoot high school sports so much before you go insane. I may be reaching that point...
