First off I apologize for the quality of images as of late. I still don't have an photo editing software on my computer so the photos are from work after they've been converted to useable print files.

It has been quite a day and a half. There was a fire at a house last night in town so we ended up going out there. Before all that there was some local high school sports going on.
But the major stuff that was interesting and really cool to me was taking photos of a group of EPA scientists measuring the cleanliness of water in local streams. There were a lot of good photo ops and the people were pretty interesting.

This stream wasn't really anything to be afraid of, but I definitely wasn't dressed to be trudging through woods and mud in 90 degree heat.

By the end of the coverage I was soaked with sweat and kind of dusty. I got some ok photos though, which is the real point.

The last photo here is actually of an intern for the EPA. As an intern I found it rather ironic that I met another intern in a totaly different line of work.

This guy had recently remodeled his barber shop to reflect the fan favor for Ohio State University.

Now, as a person still holding residency in Michigan, I am not allowed by law to claim any interest or favor for anything related to Ohio football. I could be arrested.

Then there was a "fire". A fire that I never actually witnessed. More or less it was a lawn party for Sidney's finest fire department.

Ok the next day consisted of spending an annoyingly huge amount of time with farmers in the area. I had to shoot different farms and interesting features around these farms to drum up interest in a tour of farms in the surround area.

This guy had tons of antique stuff in his home. I can't even describe the amount of stuff. I didn't even get photos that did justice to the stuff he has. However, he is really known for his Belgian horses which are massive. Their shoulders stand around my head height and I'm 5' 7"

Next came a large dairy farm run by an Irish family. This was kind of quick pop in and out. Basically these guys are setting up cows to be milked. Again, quick shots of cattle, buildings, tractors, etc.

This shot was just kind of fun. I think this one got messed up in photoshop because it is really flat. The guy was more of a silhouette.

Last of all was this guy. He was just sitting at a bench outside of the courthouse downtown. I was walking by after shooting some pictures at the barber shop and he randomly yelled to me to take his picture. Definitely the weirdes thing that's happened to me here so far.

did the bench guy tell you about the scars on his head from being in the KKK? :-/
How come I have lived here all my life and NEVER have met the bench guy?!?!?! Maybe he only talks to the interns from Michigan...
*Sigh*
