Unexpected excitement

Today was much more of an eventful day that I had planned. I originally thought that I'd be going out and picking up a single feature and that it would take me a good portion of the day to find one. Well, instead I stumbled on like 4 or 5 features without much effort.

This was a random that I picked up after shooting some youth softball (you'll see that below). This kid was wondering why I was shooting through those holes and I ended up catching him trying to get a look.

This is definitely not a "standard shot" but Erin inspired me to mess with some color stuff in Photoshop and I ended up with this sort of strange graphic shot. Basically just messing with color layers and such. Blah blah blah.

Erin thinks this is a portfolio worthy shot. I might agree. It'll probably have to replace a shot that is pretty similar to this one. I think the colors and stuff are better on this one than the other. It's also much more clean and artistic. Sports features are always nice instead of action shots. Action just shows you can motor drive on stuff. It's not all about the player on the field....

This last shot was just for fun. I think it's just goofy to shoot this stuff for no reason. Bringing random things that we see in life into a photo can make them into little arty things.

This is just an arrow, but I like it. No idea why.
